Leadership, Learning, and Engagement

  • Develop guiding principles for cross-division peer leadership programming and coordinate leadership opportunities.
  • Implement the Student Organization Working Group recommendations and new policies.
  • Reconstitute Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Well-Being, Belonging, and Support

  • Advance efforts to promote community building and constructive dialogue.
  • Implement recommendations from the Faculty’s Student Discipline Working Group.
  • Recruit and train Campus Event Response Team members.
  • Partner with the Undergraduate Advising Center to develop a new database and offer seamless student support.
  • Expand Well-being partnerships with ORSEL and DAPER.

Student Spaces and Dining 

  • Implement the Campus Dining Roadmap Initiative
  • Advance improvements to the softball/baseball turf and develop a comprehensive roadmap for DAPER facilities.
  • Re-open East Campus and plan for McCormick renovation and advance critical elements of the housing roadmap.
  • Partner with FSILG house corporations to continue to improve facilities and promote support through the IRDF.
  • Implement gym equipment maintenance contract in houses, replace outdated equipment, and add/upgrade uniform emergency call devices as needed.
  • Promote graduate housing occupancy.

Employee Development and Administration

  • Work with the Provost’s Office to develop action plans for addressing the impact of budget changes.
  • Assess staff climate using the QOL Survey and develop department and division action plans.
  • Make digital housing systems more user-friendly (e.g., StarRez, work orders). 
  • Advance SEABoard’s professional development, well-being, and belonging efforts.
  • Build our dining marketing efforts and coordinate communications strategy across DSL.
