Do you need to provide MIT students or employees with TechCASH funds, accept TechCASH sales, or track attendance? DSL Business Services and Technology can help!

• The TechCASH Student Rewards program allows MIT departments to deposit TechCASH funds directly onto the MIT ID cards for students.
• TechCASH Gift Cards are another option for providing funds to MIT community members when the department purchasing the cards does not know in advance who the recipients will be.
• MIT Student Groups in good standing can obtain authorization to collect TechCASH payments for goods and activities by renting a TechCASH reader.
• MIT Departments can rent mobile card readers for tracking attendance and checking people in and out of events
• TechCASH funds can only be added to employee accounts for non-job related activities. This could include raffle prizes or survey participation incentives.

MIT DSL Business Services makes TechCASH card readers available to the MIT Community for sales and events.  MIT Student Groups with SOLE approval as well as MIT DLCs may use this form to request authorization to host a sale where TechCASH will be used to purchase goods and services through rental of a TechCASH mobile reader.  TechCASH card readers can also be rented for event activities where no payments are collected.

Student Rewards

The TechCASH program is a great way to reward students for going above and beyond! It’s a great incentive to increase survey response rates or rewarding their participation in programs/events. From picking up their morning coffee buying swag in the Coop, the TechCASH program has something for everyone.

The amount of the reward is entirely up to the program. Like a gift card, the recipient draws down the balance until it is all used.

TechCASH Gift Cards

We offer our own Rewards and Recognition gift cards. We will produce cards in the amount of your choosing (minimum $10) that are valid everywhere TechCASH is accepted.

These gift cards can be replenished by the recipient after the award amount is depleted by using the web interface and the gift card serial number.
