Smoking is prohibited in all areas of MIT residence halls.

Smoking is prohibited in all areas of MIT residence halls, including student rooms, hallways, lounges, courtyards, and roof decks. This prohibition includes the use of electronic cigarettes and other nicotine or marijuana products or delivery devices. Any student who violates this policy will be subject to disciplinary actions under the MIT student conduct procedures.
