Marty Checchi

Marty has been at MIT since 2018, and in the Program Coordinator role in S3 since January 2023. Prior to coming to the Institute, Marty worked in residence life, counseling, and other student development roles. As someone who took five years and some time away before finishing their undergraduate degree, Marty brings empathy and understanding to the leaves and returns processes, and encourages everyone to take time to rest when they need it. Outside of MIT, Marty spends time enjoying cats, nature, and women’s sports.
