If you require accessible housing due to a disability, Housing & Residential Services works with Disability and Access Services (DAS) to support your request and identify available units for placement. To request an accommodation, complete the supplemental housing form for any of the following categories:
- disability
- medical
- religious
- gender identity or expression
Making a Request
- Submit a supplemental housing request form in the Housing Portal and upload any required or supporting documentation.
- Submit your request early to provide adequate time for HRS staff to identify an assignment that meets your needs. Graduate students should make every effort to submit their requests before participating in self-selection.
- Though your supplemental request may be approved, HRS cannot guarantee a housing assignment as units are subject to availability. We will do our best to meet your needs.
If a student does not need accessible housing but is assigned to an accessible room, Housing & Residential Services reserves the right to relocate the resident if the space is needed for a student with a disability.
