Wellbeing Spaces
At MIT, we have a network of physical spaces that embody and promote wellbeing and community.
The Wellbeing and Belonging team oversees several physical spaces that embody and promote wellbeing and community. The Wellbeing Lab, serving as the anchor for student wellbeing on campus is just one of many spaces that help students care for themselves as well as the Cheney Room and SPXCE. Visit the DoingWell at MIT site to find more wellbeing spaces around campus.
The Wellbeing Lab
Located on the 3rd floor of the Student Center (W20), it is a go-to spot for students to unwind and be themselves.
Margaret Cheney Room
Founded in 1884. Cheney Room exists to promote community, relationship building, support, and empowerment of all students at MIT as it relates to gender.
SPXCE
SPXCE (pronounced space) is a place for ongoing learning, growth, and innovation; a place where healthy conversations about belonging are not only encouraged, but celebrated.
