Rev. Rachel (she/her) is the interim “Episcopal” chaplain half of the Lutheran-Episcopal Chaplaincy at MIT.  She was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 2015 after an academic research and teaching career in epidemiology.  She is married (David), has two teenagers (Simon and Kate), and a very chill puggle (Cliff).  She is an exuberant follower of Jesus, whose goals are to live in and share the radical breadth and depth of God’s love with joy and wonder, and empower the communities she serves to do the same. Rev. Rachel loves to laugh, read, play the piano, walk, and spend time with family and friends.
