Indigenous Spirit
Helping students express their cultural identity and grow as leaders

About
The Indigenous Spirit program mentors students in upholding their identities and spiritual traditions, supports student clubs in building community across indigenous traditions, and connects across MIT through the New Moon meditations and campuswide celebrations such as the Beaver Moon. Indigenous Spirit partners include Radius, MIT Dining, MIT Sustainability, MIT Open Documentary Lab, MIT Collaboration Studio, MIT Media Lab and MIT ICEO. Indigenous spirit programs attract undergraduate and grad students, researchers, faculty, staff, alumni and guests.
