Event Spaces

What kind of space do you need? Whether it’s MIT’s largest auditorium, a dance studio, a small meeting room, an outdoor barbecue pit, or a climbing wall, the CAC manages a tremendous range of event venues for use by members of the community. Have a look at the CAC’s full inventory of spaces, hours of availability, and capacities to find out which space best suits your event or organization’s needs.

Reservations

The CAC uses Mazevo, an online scheduling system, to make its spaces available to the MIT community. Visit Mazevo (and create and account if you don’t have one), for a comprehensive overview of currently available spaces and dates during the academic year, September through May. The site also provides information on upcoming booking periods, detailed instructions, and other guidance.

New users will need to create an account in order to make reservations—a simple process that will take one business day after completing the form. (Many student organizations already have accounts; please contact CAC before trying to create a new one.)

Student Organization Event Planning

Student organizations planning events should work closely with both the CAC and Student Organizations, Leadership, and Engagement (SOLE) for event planning and support.

DLCI Event Planning

MIT Departments, Labs, Centers, and Institutes (DLCIs) are welcome to reserve CAC spaces. Remember to follow Institute guidelines, including registering your event.
