Women’s Track and Field Wins First NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship; Completes Historic Sweep of NCAA Titles

The MIT women’s track and field team earned nine All-America honors across six events, including the program’s first relay national championship in the 4x400m, to win the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championship on Saturday at the SPIRE Institute’s Outdoor Track & Field facility. The title was MIT’s first NCAA women’s outdoor track and field national championship.

With the victory, MIT completed a sweep of the 2024-25 NCAA Division III women’s cross country, indoor track and field and outdoor track and field titles – becoming the first women’s program to sweep all three in the same year.
