Campus Wide Ticketing Service

The adMIT One Ticketing Service is a centralized box office service for the MIT community. We work closely with student groups, MIT departments, and external organizations to ensure that each event is as successful as possible. Take a look at the adMIT One Comparison page using the link on the right to see how much your event can save by using adMIT One!

Our services include:

Rates*

adMIT One Pricing
*There are no additional fees beyond the rates listed above, unless an event is cancelled or tickets are refunded. Other ticketing services often charge a service fee, a per ticket fee, and credit card fees. Check out the fee comparison with popular ticket services.

Optionally, event organizers can elect to have their ticket customers pay a 5% convenience fee on top of the ticket price. This means the event will receive 100% of the ticket sale revenue for event sales over $1000.

Ticket Refunds/Event Cancellations: If an event allows ticket returns, the fee for each credit card or TechCASH refund is $2.50 per ticket. Event organizers can also refund ticket sales directly to customers outside of adMIT One.

Ticket Scanning

Electronic scanners are available for rent from us for self-service use. We require a minimum of 10 business days to arrange scanner rentals.

Post-event accounting

MIT departments and student groups will have ticket sale proceeds transferred to their account in SAP. External groups will have their payment processed via MIT Accounts Payable. Payment transfers will be processed after the event date, on (or near) the 1st and 15th of each month.  Payments cannot be tranferred prior to the closing of ticket sales, and refunds cannot be processed after funds have been transferred.

Online Box Office

Once your event is posted to the adMIT One box office, just direct your audience to tickets.mit.edu!  All current and upcoming events are posted to this site.  Don't confuse your customers by publishing long and complex URLs. Just tell them "tickets.mit.edu." Customers can even purchase tickets for multiple events within the same shopping cart.

Fundraising and Point of Sale Payments

Another feature of our site allows for fundraising drives whereby customers can pledge whatever amount they choose instead of purchasing a ticket a defined price.  This feature also works well for in-person sales!  For example, if you're hosting an event where you'll be selling various merchandise at varying prices, the customers can select what they want and you can calculate the total, then direct them to tickets.mit.edu to make payment.  You'll be able to see the payments in real time using the admin tool.  E-mail tickets@mit.edu for more information.

Kresge Auditorium—Assigned Seating

Have a large event in Kresge and want assigned seats? We can do that. Just let us know when you submit your registration form.
