Gabi Hott Soares

Gabi is an international professional with experience in Corporate Communications and Social Responsibility processes in large metals & mining and oil & gas companies in Latin America. She graduated in Social Communication (Journalism) from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, located in Brazil, and holds an MBA from the Hult International Business School in Cambridge, MA.

In 2017, she embarked on a new journey that brought her to the Higher Education field and made her land at MIT two years later. For almost three years, Gabi worked for the Campus Activities Complex and joined the SOLE team in the Fall of 2021.

Gabi loves to work at MIT because it is an environment that promotes learning, innovation, active listening, open dialogue, and respect. Her passion for communicating with people from diverse cultures and connecting this diversity for the best results is her drive. Serving people, engaging and nurturing the MIT community, and inspiring stakeholders are what she most enjoys doing.
