Amanda Putnam

I’m Amanda, and I grew up in Massachusetts and received my bachelor’s degree from MIT in biology with a minor in public policy. I have worked in education in many capacities, from helping students in Mexico learn organic chemistry with MISTI to teaching high school biology in my hometown to managing the honors college residence halls at UMass Amherst. After getting my master’s degree in higher education at UMass, I’m now excited to be back at MIT to help give back to the community that helped make me who I am today! In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, playing video games, searching for wildlife, and doing almost any activity with friends.
