As an Assistant Dean for Fraternities, Sororities, and Independent Living Groups at MIT, I provide comprehensive advising and support to the Panhellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, Independent Living Group Council, and organizations within those councils. I oversee recruitment and intake, membership retention, risk management, leadership development, and event planning, in addition to supervising Panhellenic and Independent Living Group Graduate Resident Advisors (GRAs).
I work proactively with student leaders to foster values-based leadership, civic responsibility, and personal growth. By assisting them in navigating organizational structures, planning impactful programs, and addressing complex challenges within a shared-governance model, I help cultivate a dynamic and engaged community. My approach emphasizes active listening, strategic problem-solving, and building a community of care.
Through a focus on student learning, holistic development, and informed guidance, I aim to create a thriving FSILG community that promotes collaboration, leadership excellence, inclusion, and belonging. My work empowers students to overcome challenges, build meaningful relationships, and grow as leaders in a supportive environment that embodies MIT’s mission and values.
