Karah is a Survivor Advocate for the Violence Prevention and Response office. Prior to coming to MIT, Karah was a rural advocate at her local sexual assault support center in Maine. She began volunteering at the center in 2019 while she worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Maine. After graduating, she continued her work supporting survivors of sexual violence, specifically focusing on supporting survivors and doing outreach in rural communities.
