Rising Leader Program

The Rising Leader Program is a semester-long program designed to educate sophomore and junior students about a variety of leadership theories, models, and frameworks, empower them in developing their personal leadership philosophies, and equip them with a network of other driven student leaders at MIT.

Members of the Rising Leader Program will meet weekly to engage in activities, discussion, and reflection centered around their leadership roles and experiences at MIT. The style of this program is both social and seminar, aiming to gather MIT student leaders together in a supportive, connected cohort where they can make meaning of their leadership successes and failures, gain new leadership skills and strategies to lead their groups, teams, and organizations more effectively, and prepare to take on more challenging leadership roles, responsibilities, and experiences in the future.
