The Activities Midway is an excellent opportunity for MIT's recognized student organizations to promote their groups, advertise their upcoming events, and recruit new members. It occurs twice each academic year, once in the fall semester—the Fall Orientation Activities Midway, and once in the spring semester—the Spring Campus Preview Weekend Activities Midway.
For additional information, check out the ASA's website or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Activities Midway is planned and run by the Association of Student Activities (ASA), which is a joint committee of the Undergraduate Association (UA) and the Graduate Student Council (GSC). The ASA Executive Board advocates on behalf of student groups to gain resources for student groups' benefit, allocates resources among student groups, and arbitrates among student groups and any other involved parties. In general, the ASA oversees student group activity and is the governing body of student groups on the MIT campus. The ASA and the SOLE work hand in hand to support and empower students and student organizations in their endeavors.
