Joanna has served as MIT’s Manager of Residential Desktop Support since 2018. Within this role, Joanna provides technical assistance to residents of 19 on-campus residence halls, in addition to staff from Housing & Residential Services, MIT Dining, and Residential Education. Joanna also manages technical support for these areas to ensure that students, faculty and staff have the necessary technology and resources needed to succeed.
Before joining MIT, Joanna worked as a Systems Analyst at Management Sciences for Health where she gained valuable technical skills that she applies to her current role. She holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.
In addition to her desktop support responsibilities, Joanna has played a crucial role in implementing new software and hardware solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity in her current role.
Outside of her work at MIT, Joanna enjoys various activities such as travelling, photography, playing tennis, sailing, and ballroom dancing. Her diverse interests reflect her passion for exploring new opportunities and embracing new challenges.
