Keith joined MIT in 2015 and currently serves as Assistant Director of Second Shift Operations and Security Systems.  Within this role, Keith oversees contracted Allied Universal security staff, front desk operations within graduate residence halls, evening Unit-12 operations, and the security systems and access controls within the residence halls.  Keith was awarded the MIT Excellence Award in 2021 for his extraordinary efforts to improve the MIT community.  Outside of MIT, Keith enjoys competing in marathons, and has previously completed two marathons in two days, and has previously run 65 miles in 21 hours.  Keith's immediate family includes his wife, Lori, and their three children.  Keith also enjoys running and playing with the family's two dogs, Hannah and Tracker.

Duarte has been with MIT for more than a decade and works within Housing & Residential Services Office (HRS) to help ensure the safety and security of all housing facilities and residents.  Duarte manages responses to operational issues, including medical emergencies, flooding, and residential lockouts. Duarte works collaboratively with teams across the Division of Student Life, the Department of Facilities, MIT Police, and others of other administrative offices. Prior to MIT, Duarte was a Senior Operations Manager for the Harvard Cooperative Society.  Outside of the office, Duarte focuses his time on family and friends, and enjoys boating on Narragansett Bay.

Hal joined MIT in 2020 as Associate Director for Business Systems Operations for Housing & Residential Services (HRS).  Within this role, Hal oversees the management of a suite of HRS business technologies and enterprise applications.  Prior to joining MIT, he worked within Residential Life at Brown University.  Hal holds a dual master's degree in education and e-commerce.  When he's not in the office, Hal enjoys the many forms of art, including architecture, performing arts and design.

Joanna has served as MIT’s Manager of Residential Desktop Support since 2018.  Within this role, Joanna provides technical assistance to residents of 19 on-campus residence halls, in addition to staff from Housing & Residential Services, MIT Dining, and Residential Education.  Joanna also manages technical support for these areas to ensure that students, faculty and staff have the necessary technology and resources needed to succeed.

Before joining MIT, Joanna worked as a Systems Analyst at Management Sciences for Health where she gained valuable technical skills that she applies to her current role. She holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.

In addition to her desktop support responsibilities, Joanna has played a crucial role in implementing new software and hardware solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity in her current role.

Outside of her work at MIT, Joanna enjoys various activities such as travelling, photography, playing tennis, sailing, and ballroom dancing. Her diverse interests reflect her passion for exploring new opportunities and embracing new challenges.

Al began the Operations Manager of Desk Services position in April 2022, although he is no stranger to MIT. He formerly worked at the 70 Amherst Street residence hall for many years as a Desk Worker where he had been a crucial part of the day-to-day operations within the residence hall.  Within his current role, Al helps to streamline the Desk Worker program to ensure staffing needs are met across all of the graduate residence halls.

William "Will" Jenkins joined the MIT Housing & Residential Services team in January 2022 as the Assistant Director for Residential Renewal Planning. Within this role, Will is responsible for planning for the future needs of MITʼs residential system by assessing facility conditions, prioritizing projects and informing the development of a longer-range plan to inform the MIT Capital Plan and our department’s housing roadmap.  Will comes to MIT from Harvard University where he served in various operations-related roles for five years.  He brings extensive professional experience in building operations, including management of long-term maintenance planning.  Will also possess experience serving in the United States Navy Reserve where he helped manage various constructed-related projects during tours in Afghanistan and Cuba.
