Areas of Specialization & Professional Interests

For as long as she can remember, Michela has had an interest for working with people and trying to find solutions to problems. While at Teachers College, Michela contributed to a couple of research teams investigating the impact of gun violence exposure on the brain using various brain imaging techniques. She is currently a first-year student at William James College working towards her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Generally, Michela's areas of interest include empowerment wrk and self-advocacy. She is passionate about helping young individuals reach their potential and feel confident about what they bring to the table.

She will be an MIT S3 Intern for the academic year of 2023-2024

Personal

Michela enjoys all things food! She gets immense joy from eating and trying new restaurants/bakeries. In her free time, she loves playing tennis and being out in nature. She recently moved to Cambridge, so if you have any local food recommendations for her, she'd be grateful!
