Loc began working at MIT in 2017. He is the newest member of Student Support Services serving as Assistant Dean. Prior to joining S^3, Loc spent 13 years at Harvard University working with both graduate and undergraduate students. He provided support and advising to first-generation, low-income college students, undocumented students, and students of color. Some areas of expertise are diversity, inclusion, social justice, career development, and leadership development. Loc is passionate about supporting the student experience and ensuring that all students have the resources they need to be successful at MIT.

During his free time Loc enjoys traveling, cooking, and going out to dinner with friends. He is in love with his new puppy Henry, who is full of energy and spunk. He can’t wait until Henry is housebroken.
