More about the 2020 - 2021 PEP Leader Cohort!

Bhavik Nagda (he/him/his) is a senior and M.Eng. student in Computer Science. He currently serves on the Schwarzman College's Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing Committee and is involved in MIT's PKG Center and D-Lab programs.

Ashleigh Teygong (she/her/hers) is a junior majoring in Chemical Engineering. She previously served as the MIT Panhellenic VP of Diversity and Inclusion, and is also involved in MIT Global Health Alliance and MIT AIChE.

Sandy Jean-Charles (she/her/hers) is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. She has previously served as the co-chair of Black Womxn’s Alliance and a member of the Dean’s Action Group on Social and Ethical Responsibilities in Computing.

Isabella Gándara is a first-year undergraduate student planning to major in Biological Engineering and Science, Technology, and Society. She serves as the Projects Liasion for MIT’s Global Health Alliance and is involved as a UROP with the Whitehead Institute, researching human genomics and the 3D structure of the genome and transcriptional regulation.

Valerie Chen (she/her) is a junior majoring in political science. At MIT, she is a Pleasure educator and is also involved in other student wellness and theater groups.

Sky Kim (she/her/hers) is a sophomore undergraduate majoring in biological engineering and public policy. She is involved with ActLingual, MIT Biotech Group, Kappa Alpha Theta’s Philanthropy committee, and research at the Koch Institute.​

Rory Knight (they/them/theirs) is a freshman majoring in Physics and minoring in Astronomy and Spanish. At MIT, they are involved with Interphase EDGE, the Experimental Study Group, and the Wellbeing Ambassador Program.

Moulinrouge Kaspar (she/her/hers) is a sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computers Science. She was previously a part of the UA Community Service Group and is currently starting the MIT-UNICEF club and is a member of the MIT Robotics Club and African Students Association.

Mia Reilly (she/her/hers) is a junior undergraduate majoring in Business Analytics and Computer Science. At MIT, Mia is on the varsity field hockey team and is also a member of the Sloan Student Advisory Board and the Community Catalyst Leadership Program.
