First-Year Leadership Experience
First-Year Leadership Experience (FYLE) aims to create a network of first-year students to help them gain a greater understanding of the MIT community as a whole. Through various workshops and speakers, students will develop and be able to convey their own personal leadership narratives as well as recognize their identities and values that will play a role in their college career. Overall, the First Year Leadership Experience helps first year students transition into college with greater confidence and sets a foundation for their leadership abilities.
Three learning outcomes of FYLE:
1. Discover who you are and your personal leadership style
2. Shape your leadership within the MIT community
3. Empower yourself to become a social change leader
