Meet the Leadership Team

David has been at MIT since July 2017 and is responsible for oversight of the department of Housing & Residential Services (HRS) within the Division of Student Life (DSL). HRS handles housing operations for all MIT graduate and undergraduate residential facilities including housing assignments, maintenance, communications, summer conference housing, and residential security. He is actively involved in planning for renovation and renewal of the MIT residential system as well as capital project planning across the DSL. Outside of work, taking in a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, coaching little league, and sailing are favorite pastimes.

Rich joined Housing & Residential Services in April 2019, and currently serves as Associate Dean and Director for Residential Services and Operations.  Within this leadership role, Rich oversees MIT residential services and operations, an around-the-clock operation that encompasses graduate and undergraduate housing assignments, billing, summer conference housing, off-campus housing support, technology, maintenance, housekeeping, residential front desk support, and security services across the Institute’s residential facilities.

Milo joined Housing & Residential Services (HRS) in 2015.  His responsibilities include supporting the HRS Senior Leadership Team, including the Senior Associate Dean, and coordinating various department programs and initiatives.  Milo works closely with colleagues across MIT’s Division of Student Life and is often the first person to greet visitors as they arrive at the HRS office in W59-200.    

Outside of the office, Milo enjoys caring for and spending time with his three Italian Greyhounds (Fresco, Ziggy, and Sage), making and listening to music, creating art (by foraging the seashore for found objects), and swimming in whatever body of water is nearest at the moment.   

Ashley joined Housing & Residential Services (HRS) in 2023.  She is responsible for maintaining HRS websites, strategizing content and delivery methods, and is behind most emails received from HRS.  She works closely with colleagues across MIT’s Division of Student Life and other Institute stakeholders to provide clear, thoughtful, and timely communications to the residential community.

Outside of the office, Ashley enjoys hiking, gardening, video games, and spending time with her husband and two children.
