Reserve the Rainbow Lounge

 

All students can reserve the Rainbow Lounge (front or back area) through our online form if you would like to have an event and/or meeting in the Rainbow Lounge. 

Please allow 2-3 business days for approval. LBGTQ+ Services recommends filling out the form 4 days prior to your event.

 

Front Room: Rolling tables, rolling chairs, sitting area, and TV screen.

Back Room: Projector and iMac, couches, rolling chairs and tables, ottoman and soft seating.

 

LBGTQ+ 101 Videos   

 

LBGTQ+ Services is creating quick 101 educational videos for people to view, share, and learn from.  Please check back once a semester to find a new video added.  These videos have toggle on/off closed captions  You can also view and download the full transcript as well by clicking the link below.

GII

 

The Gender Identity Initiative (GII) aims to identify and implement changes to MIT systems that will improve inclusive representation of gender identities while protecting individual privacy, enabling greater autonomy, and meeting legal requirements. This includes legal sex, gender identity, name, and pronouns.
