MIT's Diversity Orientation Program

We know that diverse identities, experiences and perspectives make for a robust learning environment. Additionally, we know that diverse environments produce better outcomes and help foster innovation. MIT is committed to building a campus community that respects and values all of its members and where all can thrive and grow to their full potential. The Diversity Orientation Program formally welcomes all new students to the MIT community while engaging them in conversations on diversity, equity and inclusion that deepen their connections to self and others. The dynamic Rev. Jamie Washington M.Div., Ph.D. returns to MIT to facilitate this year’s program for all first year undergraduate students.
