MIT Dining advances the Division of Student Life’s mission, ‘we are here for students’, by collaboratively working with departments, labs, and centers to create a campus where everyone has access to healthy, affordable, and culturally meaningful food served in an environment designed for social connections, sustainability, and innovation.  MIT Dining oversees in-house dining, as well a retail dining across campus.

Mark has been at MIT since January 2018 and serves as the Director of Campus Dining within the Division of Student Life.  In this leadership role, Mark is responsible for oversight of the department and serves as the primary liaison between dining vendors on campus, including residential and retail operators, food trucks, and outside caterers. He works closely with colleagues from Housing & Residential Services, the Department of Facilities, and MIT Emergency Management.  Mark also collaborates with student leaders from the Undergraduate Association, the Graduate Student Council and Dormitory Council. Outside of work, you’d find Mark cycling, bird watching, checking out new restaurants, and spending time with family.

Heather has been at MIT since January 2020 and serves as the Assistant Director of Campus Dining within the Division of Student Life.  Heather is responsible for physical plant maintenance which includes maintenance and replacement of kitchen equipment.  Within her role, Heather works closely with MIT's Department of Facilities, Housing & Residential Services, and all contracted food service vendors. Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her partner and their two rescue dogs, being with friends, live music and watching football. Fins up!

Amanda is the Director of Marketing for MIT Campus Dining. Prior to joining the Campus Dining team, she served as Marketing Manager for UMass Dining - the largest & most awarded college dining program in the nation, voted number 1 campus dining for 8 years in a row by the Princeton Review. Her mission at MIT is simple: to showcase the quality and value of a campus dining meal plan through storytelling & student engagement. Her passion for food & community allows her to draw these elements out and share them with the MIT student body. Amanda earned her bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Hartford and graduated from the Isenberg School of Management with a MBA in Marketing in December of 2022. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her Goldendoodle, Scooter, hiking, cooking & doing yoga.
