2021-2022 Room Assignment Update (Rising Juniors & Seniors)

Dear Student,

As you may know, rising junior and senior room assignments for the 2021-2022 academic year are scheduled to be released tomorrow, May 14.  To complete this house-led process, Housing & Residential Services (HRS) is working collaboratively with Room Assignment Chairs (RACs) and House Teams in each house to finalize and communicate room assignments. 

We have been notified that the RACs require additional time to review living preference information and to facilitate individual room assignments in coordination with their House Team. As a result, specific room assignments for 2021-2022 residents have been delayed until Friday, May 21.  HRS will share confirmed room assignments with you once this information is available. 

If you're an FSILG member who is planning to live in your FSILG this fall (they’ll be open!), please work with your house leadership to confirm your FSILG placement as soon as possible and no later than Friday, May 28.  Also, if you confirm FSILG housing, please don’t forget to cancel your on-campus assignment within MyHousing. 

I know this isn’t the exciting news that you were expecting, but please hold on a little longer.  We appreciate your patience as RACs and House Teams continue to work hard to finalize assignments according to students’ submitted living preferences.
