SEABoard Diversity & Inclusion Committee
The SEABoard Diversity & Inclusion Committee assists in developing a plan for DSL staff that integrates existing national best practices for division staff development. This committee researches diversity and inclusion core competencies and makes recommendations to help DSL staff increase their knowledge, skills, and awareness as a means of fostering a diverse, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
The committee advances the following goals align with leadership, recruitment and retention efforts:
- Work with Human Resources to improve DSL search committee chair training and tools for diverse recruitment and pipeline development
- Identify and recommend best practices to increase diversity and inclusion core competencies among staff
- Suggest dashboard measures for the division.
