MIT’s Panhellenic Association (Panhel) took home three awards at the 2019 Northeast Greek Leadership Association Conference (NGLA) in Hartford, Connecticut this month. MIT Panhel governs seven MIT sorority chapters.
At the Alpha Phi International Women's Fraternity’s 72nd national Biennial Convention in Tucson, Arizona, MIT’s Zeta Phi chapter won the coveted House Corporation Board of the Year Award for “outstanding facility management,” besting 33 other applicants from Alpha Phi's 170 chapters.
The MIT Interfraternity Council was recognized with an Amy Vojta Impact Award for their risk management efforts at the 2018 Northeast Greek Leadership Association (NGLA) Annual Conference over the weekend of February 24.

This year, MIT has officially become a member of the Hazing Prevention Consortium (HPC), a multi-university organization dedicated to creating a culture of inclusiveness through data-driven policies and education.
On May 31, the Association of Independent Living Groups (AILG) held their annual dinner and business meeting at the MIT Museum. The AILG membership consists of the alumni and advisory boards involved with MIT’s Fraternities, Sororities, and Independent Living Groups (FSILGs).
