MIT has announced it will provide funding for continued wages and benefits for contract Institute dining workers from two companies, Bon Appetit and Restaurant Associates. This funding supports more than 225 workers who were subject to layoffs.

New vending machines in Student Center and Building 16 expand fresh food options on campus

To expand the fresh, healthy meal choices on campus, MIT Dining last week rolled out a pilot of 6am Health’s Fresh Fridge vending machines in the Stratton Student Center’s 5th floor center lounge (W20) and in the vending-machine area at the first-floor intersection of Buildings 16 and 26.
