Makeup Sessions Schedule

For student organizations that have an excused absence, the Student Organization Leadership Committee has put together a collection of required makeup sessions. In order to best accommodate student schedules, students have the opportunity to select from a number of sessions.

All organizations are required to attend two different sessions. The first is that all are asked to participate in a large "Community Conversation" workshop. The second is that all organizations are asked to select two "Leadership Workshops" to attend.

Makeup Session Requirement #2: Leadership Workshop

All organizations are required to attend two (2) of any of the below workshops:

Session Name: "I am a LEADer Conference" Session

Details:

Student leaders can attend any workshop offered at the official "I am a LEADer Conference"
Schedule of Sessions:

Student leaders can select any of the sessions listed on the official conference website

Attendance Tracking:

Upon completing a session and signing-out, students should then complete this form to make sure their attendance is recorded.

Session Name: Use of MIT Brand & Trademarks: A Discussion with the Trademark License Office

Details:

Details:

Do you know how to keep group interest throughout the year(s)? What about what’s most important to impart on your new leadership? Do you have any clue on how to engage with your group alumni? Come learn and discuss with us on how to maintain your group long after you’ve graduated!

Session Name: Financial Fitness

Details:

This session will focus on effectively planning for and implementing your club’s budget. It will also discuss the importance of monitoring and evaluating club expenditures while doing so with integrity, efficiency, and transparency. Any process changes due to COVID-19 restrictions will be highlighted.
