As Program Coordinator, Danny works on student engagement, outreach and recruitment for the PKG Center’s programming. His role includes establishing and further developing partnerships with a range of MIT partners, departments and student communities.
Prior to joining the PKG Center Danny spent several years helping students build communal partnerships across political, social, cultural and ethnic boundaries at The David Project, a department of Hillel International. His work included co-managing the department’s national programs, overseeing a team that managed over 250 interns and creating the organization’s first Jewish-Latino Summit in Miami, FL, and Black-Jewish Summit in Washington, DC. Danny graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Comparative Cultures & Politics and International Relations and has spent significant time learning about social, political and identity-based challenges in Latin America and Israel. In his free time Danny likes to watch too much tv, spend time in nature, and tailgate during football season.
