Senior Program Administrator, Social Impact Employment
As the Center’s Senior Program Administrator of Social Impact Employment, Chiara develops and manages programming that facilitates students’ engagement-- through social impact employment, internships and off-campus Federal Work-Study-- with partner organizations that can benefit from MIT’s distinctive strengths and provide high-quality student experiences. She coordinates the Center’s community partner engagement strategy and cultivates relationships with core community partner agencies.
Chiara was born and raised in Italy, where she received a master's in history and a certificate in career counseling and worked as a career and employment advisor. She lived for several years in Ireland, where she received a certificate in nonprofit management and garnered experience in internship and volunteer program management, diversity and inclusion initiatives. In Massachusetts, Chiara’s work has mainly focused on immigrant integration, cross-cultural communications, and nonprofit capacity building before joining the PKG Center in August 2015.
