I need to plan an event, where do I start?

Institute departments may reserve facilities such as classrooms, multipurpose rooms, auditoriums, barbecue pits, and athletic facilities. Many different offices are responsible for scheduling facilities on campus, but most rooms may be reserved through one of three departments: Schedules Office, Athletics, and the Campus Activities Complex. All events are reviewed for appropriate use of space. The Event Planning Guide has all the information you will need to plan a successful event on campus.

How do I change my staff directory information in this web site?

All DSL Staff with an email address can update their own staff pages with their professional information; however, some sections of information such as your job title are locked. If you’ve had a title, office location or contact information change, please contact the web site administrator to request a change. How should I prepare for my annual review?

One of the ways to help prepare you for your annual review is to make notes you can use during the conversation with your supervisor and think about successes, obstacles and goals. You may also consider taking the professional development course entitled “Performance Planning and Review: Your Role in Your Own Review” offered by HR Central at least once a year.
For more information, please contact the DSL Human Resource coordinator.
