Graduate and Family Housing

Graduate &
Family Housing

Graduate students are a major force in the MIT community and play a large role in shaping the Institute’s distinctive culture.

Graduate residence halls, located within a short walk of campus, are likewise shaped by their residents to be vibrant, collaborative places that meet the distinct needs of graduate students and families. We have a variety of options available for both single students and students with families.

Get started by checking out the webinars below, designed to guide you through the different graduate housing processes and options available to you:

April 5, 2017: Graduate Housing Allocation Webinar
April 27, 2017:  Graduate Housing Waitlist and Sublicensing Webinar

For the 2018-19 academic year, Housing & Residential Services is also offering two new pilots during the allocation process: couples in single student housing and roommate selection as a group. We hope you'll take a minute to read more about these exciting changes to the housing selection process.

The spring housing allocation is now closed. If you are interested in living on campus for the spring semester, please consider joining the waiting list beginning December 3.
