Katie Lindahl


As the Graduate Assistant for Student Activities, Katie works on enhancing student life at MIT through co-advising the Freshman Leadership Program and supporting the Community Catalyst Leadership Program and LeaderShape MIT. Katie received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Women’s and Gender Studies from Boston College, and is currently enrolled in a Master of Science program in College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University. She has a strong passion for nonprofit and social justice work, especially in the area of anti-human trafficking. Her professional background is primarily in the nonprofit sector and she has worked in the areas of fundraising, communications and event planning at various nonprofits in the Washington, DC area, including the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the Polaris Project, and the International Centre for Missing & Exploited Children. A native of Minneapolis, MN, Katie is now a proud Boston resident and enjoys playing tennis with her local team and cooking for friends. Contact: klindahl@mit.edu
