The Latino Cultural Center [LCC] functions as the hub for many of the Latino student organizations, as well as individual community members interested in learning more about Latino culture. The LCC exists to promote and share Hispanic culture at MIT, while providing a ‘home away from home’ for its students and organizations.  The Center holds regular office hours, discussions, study breaks, small performances, and dinners throughout the course of the year. The LCC is also actively involved in planning Mes Latino in the month of March. The location for many student group meetings, the LCC is composed of two main parts, the business offices of the student organizations and the adjacent lounge for social activities. The lounge is also available for quiet study and socializing during the day.

The student organizations that are affiliated with the LCC are as follows:

  • Association of Puerto Rican Students [APR]
  • Casino Rueda
  • ClubMex
  • Colombiano Association
  • La Union Chicano por Atzlan [LUChA]
  • Mariachi Internacional del Tecnologico
