Fitness and Recreational Sports Facilities
Located next to the Stratton Student Center, the Department of Athletics, Physical Education, and Recreation (DAPER) features a complex of 10 buildings and an expansive outdoor space which includes 20 acres of playing fields, 16 tennis courts, and a track complex that was judged one the nation’s finest track and field facilities upon opening in 2000.
Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center
The Zesiger Center features a three-story natatorium, complete with an Olympic size swimming pool, a separate six-lane 25-yard instructional pool, a myriad of fitness rooms, six international squash courts, a multipurpose activity court, and the DAPER administrative offices.
Alumni Pool and Wang Fitness Center
The Alumni/Wang Center is home to a 25-yard lap pool and a 15-yard instructional pool as well as an exercise studio, a fitness floor, and an express circuit training area. It is conveniently connected to the Stata Center located on East Campus.
