Undergraduate
Housing

Dear Members of the MIT Community,

The team at Housing & Residential Services (HRS) is currently working with partners across the Institute to support students and the campus community.  As additional information becomes available, HRS will update the Spring 2021 Housing Dashboard to share these details with you.  As described in a recent letter from Chancellor Barnhart, first-years, sophomores and juniors have been invited to live on campus for the spring semester.  There are a number of community expectations, including those outlined on the COVID-19 student policy page, that we ask you to be mindful of.

Any immediate questions may be directed to us via email at ughousingspring2021@mit.edu.

Sincerely,

Housing & Residential Services

So much more than a dorm

More than 70 percent of MIT undergraduates live on campus, including all first-year students, but it isn't just about convenience. For MIT students, their residence halls are part entertainment center, part brain trust, part support system, and central to their experience.
