Student Citizenship
The Office of Student Citizenship (OSC) coordinates the student disciplinary process and mediation services (Mediation@MIT). The office is responsible for providing support services to the Committee on Discipline (COD) as well as support and oversight of all other student conflict resolution and discipline processes at MIT, including the residential life and fraternity, sorority and independent living groups systems. These programs and services are designed to promote community standards of behavior and support the academic mission of the Institute by enhancing student’s academic achievement as well as personal and ethical development.
