To assure proper service levels, the following policies are followed:
For events during normal business hours (Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00pm), we require a 48 hour advance notice.
We will always try to accomodate late requests and provide the services you require for your event.
However, due to the demand this places on equipment and staff resources, we reserve the right to charge a 20% increase on equipment and labor rates on last minute orders.
MIT AV technical staff will work to assure you are 100% satisfied with the equipment and services provided by the department. However, if equipment is provided by others, MIT AV technicians will not be responsible for setup, operation or troubleshooting this equipment due to liability reasons.
For events at other times (weekdays before 8:00am or after 5:00pm, weekends, holidays, etc.), we require a 5 day advance notice.
MAIN CAMPUS - For all service requests except for Sloan sponsored classes or events.
SLOAN SCHOOL - For Sloan sponsored classes and events.
AV SYSTEM MAINTENANCE REQUEST - Use this form to report AV system problems on campus.
We will add your request to our workflow as soon as possible and respond with updates.
